  • 1 pound Linguine pasta
  • 1 pound Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup White wine
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley chopped

  • Cook linguine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque (about 3-4 minutes per side).
  • Pour in white wine and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off.
  • Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it thicken slightly.
  • Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat with the creamy sauce.
  • Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic while it's cooking. You can also substitute other types of pasta for linguine.
