Ingredients
  

Chocolate Mousse

  • 6 oz Dark chocolate (70% cacao) Finely chopped
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Cold
  • 2 tablespoons Sugar

Strawberry Layer

  • 1 pint Fresh strawberries Sliced

Almond Crumble

  • 1/2 cup Sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted

  • Prepare the almond crumble: Combine sliced almonds, brown sugar, and melted butter in a bowl. Mix well and spread on a baking sheet. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Make the chocolate mousse: Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream with sugar until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the melted chocolate until combined.
  • Layer the dessert: In serving glasses, add a layer of chocolate mousse, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
  • Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of chocolate mousse.
  • Top with the almond crumble and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use high-quality dark chocolate. You can also add a sprinkle of cocoa powder or chopped pistachios for extra flair. Feel free to adjust the sweetness to your preference.
