  • 1 pound Shrimp Peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons Lime juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 cup Cilantro Chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 12 Taco shells Your choice of hard or soft shells
  • Toppings (optional) Shredded cabbage, diced avocado, pico de gallo, sour cream

  • In a mixing bowl, combine lime juice, cilantro, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  • Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  • Warm taco shells according to package directions.
  • Fill each taco shell with cooked shrimp and your favorite toppings.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the marinade. You can also substitute the shrimp with chicken or fish.
